Governing body of English Fullbore Target Shooting
This is our annual open prize meeting, for Target Rifle and F-class competitors. Held over the late May bank holiday weekend, it is open to both members and non-members.
One of the most historical matches not just in shooting but in all sport between the home nations. It is a real spectical.
As well as Target Rifle, the English Twenty Club also supports Gallery Rifle, one of the most popular and easily accessible shooting disciplines.
One of the big five international matches, this annual contest at Bisley pits the home nations against visiting teams from around the world.
Founded in 1864 the club has a rich history dating back to the volunteer force movement and the early years of the National Rifle Association
The Lions programme has now been running for nine years, providing coaching and mentoring to 99 candidates. Many have gone on to represent the club in National, Mackinnon, Lawrence, European Long Range and touring teams, as well as GB representation
Under the captaincy of John Warburton, England once again won the Lawrence Trophy international match against Scotland, held at the Blair Atholl ranges. The result, scores and a photo can be found in the Competitions section of this web site

The club is sad to announce the passing of Robin Pizer this week following a recent period of illness. Robin was a member of the club for many decades and was a keen lifelong supporter of both British and English
We can now confirm that the 2026 England Tour to the West Indies will take place Monday 13th April to Sunday 3rd May, the team first visiting Guyana, followed by Antigua to compete in the West Indies Fullbore Shooting Council
